The Dormie Score

One number for your whole marketing game.

“Dormie” is a match-play term for a lead so big you can’t lose. The Dormie Score rolls the five things that actually drive rounds (your reviews, Google presence, local SEO, content, and direct demand) into one number from 0 to 100: a benchmark you can watch climb over time, and measure against courses like yours.

“Your Dormie Score is 72/100. You’re in the ‘Competitive’ range. Here’s what that means for your tee sheet.”

How the score works

Five categories. One score you can move.

The Dormie Score isn’t a vanity metric. Each category rolls up dozens of signals from how golfers actually find and judge a course online, weighted by how much each one moves real rounds. We read every course the same way, so your number benchmarks cleanly against the field.

Reviews

Your rating, how fast you reply, and whether fresh reviews keep coming in. The strongest signal of whether a searching golfer picks you or scrolls on, and the heaviest single factor in the score.

Google presence

How complete and current your Google Business Profile is. It's the first thing most golfers see, and the quietest place to be losing rounds you never knew were in play.

Local SEO

Whether you win the local pack when someone searches a course like yours, or whether a third-party listing is parked above your own site.

Content

Whether your course reads as alive and current to golfers and to Google, or like it was last updated three seasons ago.

Direct demand

How much of your play you actually own: direct booking, email capture, and the retention loop that brings golfers back without a middleman in between.

The four bands · where you stand

Higher is a lead. Lower is a leak.

Where you land tells you how urgent the read is, and how much is leaving the building while you wait.

Significant opportunity, and significant urgency.

Close the gap. Hold the lead.

The score is the starting line, not the finish.

The number shows where you stand today. Greenbook moves it, and the before/after becomes provable, month over month, on your own tee sheet.
